Q: Who can participate in Pembroke Youth Lacrosse Programs?
A: All children in grades 1st-8th who are residents of the Pembroke School District are eligible to participate in Pembroke Youth Lacrosse programs.

Q: What equipment is required to participate in Pembroke Youth Lacrosse Programs?
A: Boys: require lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, cleats, mouth guard & protective cup. Girls: require lacrosse stick, goggles, cleats and mouth guard.

Q: How do I register my child?
A: Registration for Pembroke Youth Lacrosse programs is done on line. Please visit our registration page for details.

Q: Can I register my child after registration closes?
A: No, once registration is closed teams must be formed, rosters must be submitted and additional administrative tasks must be done to ensure our programs and league play start on time. For this reason there is no late registration.

Q: What are the division’s when playing in the MBYLL league?
A: For both boys and girls the divisions are by grade as follows: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8

Q: What division would my child be in if they are currently in 4th grade?
A: You child would play in the 3/4 grade division. Children play in their current grade division…not the grade they will be in the fall.

Q: Where are the MBYLL games held?
A: They are held on the South Shore generally along with Cape Cod, usually within 30 minutes of home.

Q: What day will my son/daughter practice?
A: Games are scheduled by the MYBLL so we are subject to their scheduling. Practice schedules will be determined once the game schedules are available. The schedules page of our website will have practice schedule information when it becomes available.

Q: Will lack of playing in the past impact the ability to play at this time?
A: No, new players will be just fine jumping into the sport as many are just beginning at this age.

Q: What equipment would he need and any rules associated with it?
A: He will need a helmet (hockey helmet is Ok), gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, cleats and a protective cup.  This equipment does not need to be new nor expensive in fact hand me downs are highly encouraged.  There are many resources for used equipment or inexpensive new equipment please see links page for options in the area.

Q: Do the location of the practices vary?
A: The U9 Division will play primarily at the Community Center Town (CCT) field and older Divisions will be split up depending on availability between at CCT & Pembroke High School (PHS).

Q: If I register and the schedule is not out until a later time and we are unable to attend due to the schedule, can I cancel and receive a refund?
A: While the organization does not have a refund policy, we are always willing to review each request on a case by case basis.
