Girls Lacrosse Information
U9: Grades 1 – 2
· Will offer at least 1 practice during the week, day/time TBD
· This is primarily a developmental/skills based age
· U9 will have a season format similar to the older groups
· During games coaches will be on the field working directly with the girls
· Game format will be 8v8, (7 + Optional Goalie)
U11: Grades 3 – 4
· Will offer 2 practices during the week, day/time TBD
· Play is on a small ball field, 8v8 (including goalie)
· 2 - 25 min running time halves, with 5 min half time, no OT, no time outs
· Draw is introduced at this level at start of game (goalie clear after goal scored)
· All foul rules enforced at this level (no checking, 3 seconds, restraining line, shooting space, etc)
· Games will be played on Sundays – full schedule released in March
U13: Grades 5 – 6
· Will offer at least 2 practices during the week, day/time TBD
· Play is on a full field, 12v12 (including goalie)
· 2 - 20min running time halves, with 5 min half time
· 1 – timeout per team
· Max 2- 3 min OT, sudden victory
· Draw at start of game, half and after goal
· All foul rules enforced at this level (includes modified checking, 3 seconds, restraining line, shooting space, etc)
· Games will be played on Sundays – full schedule released in March
U15: Grades 7 – 8
· Will offer 2 practices during the week, day/time TBD
· Play is on a full field, 12v12 (including goalie)
· 2 - 25min running time halves, with 5 min half time
· 1 – timeout per team
· Max 2- 3 min OT, sudden victory
· Draw at start of game, half and after goal
· Games will be played on Sundays – full schedule released in March
